Palustrin-Ca (GFLDIIKDTGKEFAVKILNNLKCKLAGGCPP) is a host defence peptide with potent antimicrobial and anticancer activities, first isolated from the skin of the American bullfrog  Lithobates catesbeianus . The peptide is 31 amino acid residues long, cationic and amphipathic.
