On s'intéresse à l'implémentation numérique par la méthode des éléments finis de la forme exponentiée du modèle logarithmique de Hencky. Pour ce faire, les différentes formes équivalentes de l'équation constitutive sont réécrites en termes des élongations logarithmiques principales en utilisant la décomposition spectrale ainsi que les propriétés sous-jacentes. On montre les possibilités de notre approche par le biais de nombreux exemples numériques, incluant le problème d'inversion de tubes
