In this note, we construct a minimal surface of general type with geometric genus $$ p_g =4 $$pg=4, self-intersection of the canonical divisor $$ K^2 = 32$$K2=32, and irregularity $$ q = 1 $$q=1 such that its canonical map is an Abelian cover of degree 16 of $$\mathbb P^1\times \mathbb P^1$$P1×P1.
